Balatro Tips and Tricks - A Balatro Guide on How to Win
Balatro isn’t just a game; it’s a consuming way of life. Master it with essential tips, uncover hidden strategies, and go from flunking out to dominating Ante 12. You will learn some good Balatro strategy in this guide with many tips and tricks as well as a chip guide. Remember, strategy matters—accumulate cash, choose Jokers wisely, and tailor your deck for success. Good luck!
One of the most important tips if you want to get a good run in Balatro is to make sure you get an early lead in the game. How do you do that? It's all about your build and making sure it is sustainable. This will help you win more blinds which will increase the money that you receive from hands. Overall this will increase the amount you will win in Balatro - an important tip!
The next important tip to remember is that Jokers are able to generate a lot of cash for you -- it is important that you structure your build around Jokers as a tip to succeed in your Balatro run.
Choose Wisely: When deciding which cards to keep or discard, focus on the hand you want to play. Avoid juggling multiple options simultaneously; it usually leads to neither. Maximize Discards: Discarding up to five cards costs just one discard. Aim to discard the full five whenever possible for optimal value. Relying on luck with one or two cards is risky. Play Smart: Use played hands to get rid of unwanted cards. Even if they won’t score, playing extras can clear your deck without using a discard. Desperate? Sacrifice a low-scoring hand to set up a better one next turn. Check Your Deck: Click your deck anytime to see remaining cards. Assess your chances—know which cards are more likely to appear. For pairs, consider the odds based on remaining cards (e.g., three sixes vs. two sevens).
Blinds and Pivoting: During a run, watch the blinds for each ante. If a boss blind counters your build and can’t be re-rolled, pivot. Selling Jokers or grabbing short-term boosts can help. Skipping Blinds: You can skip small and big blinds. It costs earnings but grants powerful bonuses. Consider if the bonus is worth it and if your build can handle the leap. Vouchers: Be cautious with vouchers—they’re pricey and offer long-term benefits. Look for cash-earning or saving ones like Clearance Sale or Reroll Surplus. Don’t overlook Hieroglyph—it lets you sacrifice a hand to go back an ante, giving you breathing room. Endless Mode: Winning Ante 8 isn’t the end. Keep going in endless mode, progressing to higher Antes for useful unlocks. Mathematical Blinds: Past a certain Ante, blinds are represented with formulas. Don’t lose sleep over it! Best of luck, jokerfied friends—may the river favor you!
While scoring big hands feels satisfying, it doesn’t earn you extra money. Your earnings primarily come from interest, winning fights, card modifiers, and Jokers. Remember to strategically scale your strength during your run. For instance, if you have a winning hand and a Joker like Trading Card or Mail-In Rebate, fulfill their condition before victory.
In Balatro, card order matters. Arrange Jokers from left to right: Chips and Multipliers on the left, multiplying Chips and Multipliers on the right

Stardew Valley Fishing Guide
Fishing in Stardew Valley and the types of fish that you can find are dependent on where you are fishing and what the body of water is. The season that it is, the time of day as well as the weather -- for example, if it is raining or a very sunny day.
To successfully catch a fish you need to complete the fishing mini-game. This requires your to keep the small fish icon within the confines of a rectangle on the screen so the progress bar fully fills. If the fish icon moves outside of the rectangle, the progress bar will move down which can cause the fish to escape.
Many players want to know how you can cast further. As this will help you catch different species of fish. Your casting difference is in proportion to your skill level. You casting distance will increase by 1 tile when you reach level 1, 4, 8 and lastly 15.
Where can you catch fish? Fish can be caught in oceans, lakes, rivers as well as certain underground locations around the map. While the primary method of fishing is the fishing pole, some fish require crab pots to catch.
There are a total of 67 fish in Stardew Valley. We will help you learn where and when to find all of the fish to unlock the Master Anlger Achievement.
